Biodegradable wipes are eighth product in Green Works brand.

Clorox is celebrating the one year anniversary of the Green Works line of eco-friendly home cleaners with the introduction of Green Works Natural Biodegradable Cleaning Wipes. Made from 100% cellulose fibers and derived from renewable farm grown trees, the wipes are formulated using biodegradable ingredients and are packaged in recyclable materials. Additionally, these cleaning wipes are biodegradable in typical compost conditions. Since Clorox launched the Green Works brand in early 2008, the natural cleaning category has grown more than 100%, delivering on the company’s goal to make natural cleaning more accessible and affordable to everyday consumers—without compromising performance. Green Works is now the number one natural cleaning brand in the U.S., with a 42% share of the market to date. The biodegradable wipes join seven other Green Works natural cleaners available for consumers to use throughout their homes. Described as a quick and simple way to clean naturally with the cleaning power of Clorox, Green Works Natural Biodegradable Cleaning Wipes work on grease, grime, dirt, soils and messes and are safe to use on multiple surfaces throughout the kitchen and bathroom including counters, appliances, stainless steel, sealed granite, chrome, cooktop hoods, sinks and toilets. A 30-count canister is retailing for $3.39 and a 62-count canister retails for $5.99 beginning this month everywhere Clorox products are sold.
